I Just Wish People Would Start Being Honest

In regards to immigration. I just watched a deal on Snapchat that pretty much said Trump was a racist etc. because of his DACA vote upcoming.
At what point did Trump say "We need to get ALL Mexicans and people not white out of this country,"?
This whole thing has to do with somebody being here ILLEGALLY. What Obama did was unconstitutional and was done via executive order, something in which Trump can himself write off and make a new EO saying no more DACA. If I'm wrong, Political Board right my error.
But this has nothing to do with people who came here legally and became citizens the way it's supposed to be done. It's fricking unreal the amount of bullshite that is being spewed by the left.
ETA: The thing on Snapchat paraded a bunch of "college students" around that came here "illegally" saying how they were scared that Trump could take away their fake citizenship. Did they and their illegal parents not realize that what Obama did was an Executive Order and that it could be thrown out by any president after him?

Illegal is illegal. There is no obligation on our part to fast track their citizenship.
If I can be held responsible for the slaves my great-great-great-great-great grandfather held then they can be held accountable for the sins of their parents.
If you'd like to come here then get in line. The same as I would have to do if I were to seek citizenship in another country.

You know Antifa and the SJW's could bring diversity to any nation they chose by immigrating (well assuming that the country allows that - and most non-Western ones don't).
So why don't they ever do that? They could go to Guatemala, Mexico, Nigeria, Sudan, the Horn of Africa, Pakistan.

Thats not true even. The left and minorities are not the same. Brown people just do their leg work. At the end of the day the left is full of white people who look across the aisle at the right and say "i cant compete with them" so they try and take them down. And they use minorities to do it, because at the end of the day they are racist and believe that no matter how many "treats" they give them they dont have to worry about them as competition.

I work with a "dreamer" who believes Trump enacted a law that says any Hispanic who uses Facebook to criticize him will be deported. She really believes that. I asked her where she heard that and she said she got it from "Mexican news"(?).

Should read the Newsweek article on the new 4.1T budget that is cutting SNAP benefits, i.e., food stamps for the "needy".
They use some slick political marketing with numbers but the point worth pointing out in your OP:
They use two examples one non-U.S. citizen from Europe and one Vanderbilt grad. Both well educated and family has money to assist them with food. They are looking for work, but "not working". Both complaining about the reapplication bureaucracy they have to go through each 6 months to get SNAP.
They are not accepting full time employment out of their field...best I can tell, so they want food stamps while they look, but yet their family is providing them food money???
"Some millenials" truly believe it is owed to them.
OH, the best part is "Republican Budget To Take Food Stamps From Needy" title.

So with the DACA thing, sure the parents stayed here illegally and the kids grew up here and didn't know any better.
What should happen is that:
1) The parents need to get deported NOW (for breaking the law)
2) The kids need to get a path to prove their worth. Point is, if they're truly valuable to America they should get to work towards sticking around (like a points based system over many years, college, masters, phd, work for 5/10 years in STEM field etc)
It's true these kids taking American jobs eventually is wrong, though it's also not fair that they get kicked out without regard for them not having a hand in the illegal migration. So a tough points based system is best for America, as only the talented stay behind and not many would take American jobs eventually without merit or adding value.

The sad fact is the heights of hyperbole and the outright lie have been proven over the last 18 months to be the most effective political weapon. The most vocal on both sides have run to the far corners and just toss grenades into the middle where most of us live.
I am very much in the middle on immigration. I firmly believe we should do everything practical that we can to secure the border, though I don't think a full border wall is the most efficient use of funds but that is a whole other discussion. I think the DACA dreamers should be allowed to stay with the current restrictions enforced, though I think they will stay as it is a bargaining chip. I think we should actively hunt and deport all the criminals and deport others as they pop up without infringing on the rights of brown citizens (it is the cost of freedom just like the 2A). Fine the crap out of employers caught employing illegals. Border integrity is common sense. We have to work in the middle where most of us are and drown out the fringes on both sides by simply not listening. Anyone who's first inclination when confronted with someone from the other party is to label them with some pejorative is simply part of the problem.

Maybe the ones you know. The legal immigrants I know want a fair system as it was presented to them, a tough merit based system for Dreamers with tough border immigration/restrictions is what most I know want. They definitely do not want any more illegal immigration hand-outs.
