I just don't understand why we are the only First World Country where kids shoot up a place of learning to this extent. I mean you guys have to admit its a bit of a problem.
The rate at which this happens compared to other countries makes me question why.

It is a problem. But it isn't a problem that will be solved by kneejerk legislation.
There are not many countries comparable to the US, whether it be in size, demographics, diversity, etc.
Do our gun laws make these types of events easier to happen? Absolutely.
Does that mean that changing the gun laws will help? I don't know. It might help in the specific area, but then again, it might greatly hurt citizens in other areas.
This is a cultural issue.

I heard in North Korea this stuff never happens. All the shooting deaths instead are a result of the government.
