I hope Trump mandates masks across the country

If Trump came out tonight and said “I am calling on all Americans to join me in wearing a face mask so that we can eradicate the China virus and make America healthy again.”
All the Karens would would have their masks in the trashcan before he ended his speech.

YES, this would end this virtue signaling bullshite in a heartbeat. I hope he does it. And for all the mask idiots, if it's so effective why don't we just open EVERYTHING back up since it's mandated ? If it's the cure all, there is no reason to have any restrictions.

That's kind of the whole point. Its why back in March I wanted us to handle it the same way the successful asian countries were: LINK
That being said it's not a cure all and you would have to still have social distancing. But yes you wouldn't have to shut things down.

You must have missed the other thread I started where I said I was proud of Trump wearing a mask today & was called a Karen by several posters. You guys need to get your Karen profile straight.

Yes! This would be great! Imagine how many people it would piss off if the POTUS encouraged people to wear masks, and actually wore masks himself! It would really show those LIBS who the BOSS is now!

This could possibly save his election hopes. He can then say he did something. His fan base is voting for him regardless of what he does. This could silence his critics and make people think he’s just not doubling down on this being a hoax.
