No one denies that he got worked. But would you have rather had a New Zealand or Canada style lockdown? Because that’s pretty much what everybody else wanted.

It’s like Rumsfeld said , you don’t always go to war with the army you want, you go to war with the army you have.

We fought Democrats (by capitulating) when we should have fought authoritarians and MMT proponents.

2020 was a trial run for MMT. Anyone (Right or Left) who supports it is my enemy.

The Carter years were very different - I still believe that Carter was just an ill-prepared leader for the accumulation of corrupt alliegances that had morphed into the democrat party. Basically he was a good man in charge of an evil army.

In his later years, he has slid away from his essential goodness - being beholden to evil forces can do that I suppose. I have never held any personal animus toward the man Carter himself, but the organization he represented began to take off their mask of decency and has now revealed itself to be among the most evil organizations of all time - certainly the most evil to ever achieve any sort of power within the USA.

Trump - with all his faults - has the one thing that evil cannot influence - he is immune to any of their attacks - he cannot be controlled - he will dedicate his whole being toward getting this ship of state back on course. IF we can just support this new-found arousal of American Spirit long enough to get a couple of tenures of patriotic administration at the highest level, we may yet fend off this existential attack from the 'progstains'

i agree with much of your statement BUT why not include the absolute farce that the GOP has placed on the conservatives throughout this country since the JFK assassination.

even Barry Goldwater was made to look like a buffoon in the mid 60's by the 'Industrial Complex' or "uniparty".

Nixon? what a joke he turned out to be.

it wasn't till Reagan took over that the ship was righted and still the GOP wanted him removed.

people really need to wake up and realize the evil that has been cast upon the people of this great country.

Reagan should have chosen another VP than Bush, and our trajectory may have been much different.

The public coffers proudly spit up its contents, and kids are more entitled than ever.

Somewhat. Whether we look at deficits as a percent of GDP or tie them to constant dollars, spending from 2017-2019 seems only to have continued a track which began prior to Trump's term.

Once we get to COVID though, insanity reigns like a coked-up P-Diddy at a Freak Off. Also, remember that the House controls the purse strings and that swapped over from the weak GOP to a strong Dem control in 2018. I'm not saying that to blindly excuse Trump, but just to show it's not solely a Trump thing.

We're pretty much doomed regardless of who is elected because we built back the economy on massive debt.

Neither Trump nor Kamala can maneuver a "soft landing" here. So we will continue to kick the can down the road. Just watch.

You're preaching to the choir. We're in a death spiral of deficit spending due to so much of revenues needed to just service the debt (and that amount is increasing each year).

But, to the original point of necessary evils, that is another point of proof that we have to go through these periods to remind the masses that there is a price for looking at voting through a lens of who can provide the largest and most immediate gratification from the public coffers.

get it, there are some 'celebrities' who have come around. But overall, I'm not seeing anyone I personally know who has had the light turn on who didn't see it happening in real time. When we have Michelle Obama stating in all seriousness that Kamala is out there taking on all comers, and that it's Trump who is 'hiding' when it's clear for anyone to see the exact opposite is true, I don't see how there can be any civility or meeting on common ground with these people. I just don't.

I don’t want to co-exist with Marxists either. In fact, you can’t bc we bc don’t share truths that are self evident.

I’m strictly talking about the good people who genuinely have believed the media for decades bc they don’t know they’re being lied to.
