I don’t mind Trump losing the general, because he will take some with him.

Culling the Turtles, Romneys, Grahams, Murkowskis, etc. from the party is exactly what needs to happen.
It may be painful, but this is the only way to get the party headed in the right direction.
Need to tear down a party before it can be built back?
