The UK is following our lead. They’re enforcing our sanctions against Iran.
So we own this as much as they do.
Hopefully, someone considered how the Iranians would respond to initial seizure of their vessel.
But maybe no one did. Today certainly isn’t a good sign.

We should back them up.
I recommend a complete UN embargo on all Iranian imports and exports. Plus support for any uprisings.
Britain is a good ally, and Iran is a pestilence on humanity. Regime change should be our goal.
Obama should have supported the uprisings during his term and not have given billions to the Mullahs!

Trump broke the Iran deal and didn't have a plan in place for a new deal in place before doing so. Then slapping more sanctions on Iran is not helping at all. We had a deal in place and the situation was not this. It might have not been the best deal and we will never know because Trump killed it. That is the war machine at work. Get back to the table and get a deal done.

Do you understand that there was NO deal? Whatever BHO put forth as a 'deal' was NOT approved by Congress and, therefore, was not a US binding agreement.

Your correct it was not but it was a deal we followed for 3 years. Obama took the easy way out no one should be surprised. Trump did just as promised and did away with the "deal". Now there has been no talks and Iran has returned to being well Iran. With all this said the war machine is at work. Will Trump listen ?

Listen to what? He has followed a policy of slowly amplifying sanctions while offering, often through back channels, opportunities for talks. The Iranians have refused to negotiate as soon as POTUS stated that the BHO agreement was not valid and not sanctioned by Congress and he was, therefore, not going to abide by any of its so-called terms.

Lets be clear, it's a British tanker so you are correct on that point. However, it is less about who owned the tanker and more about the encroachment and disregard for free trade and international laws; specifically in international waters.
