I think your instincts are right, the Clinton machine isn't dead and until I see her in an orange jumpsuit she is a threat, would be a fool to think otherwise.
I think Dems are playing with fire by not staking this vampire.
She isn't done until the finally kill shot.
I know her machine took a huge hit, but she knows the game

She's done. She's lost twice. If they nominate her or run her again, they will get all the derision they deserve. She's damaged goods politically. Too old

Joe Biden would be 78 years old if he won the 2020 election.
Hillary would be almost 73 if she won. I don't see it. Democrats tend to do better when they run younger candidates like Bill and Barack.

Where does Booker fit in there? Not time for him yet?
I have noticed Harris gets a lot of air time lately. That can't be a co-inka-dink.

Anyway they run her again?
She is going to face a competitive primary field. If she ran again, I think she would be knocked out early.

If you are smart you don't want to be front runner right now
That said if he is gay he is 10y too late on coming out

Booker has a lot of baggage. He does have a nice every-man appeal though. If you are going to go the african american route, Harris is a better option. She is quick on her feet and a better foil against trump. And she has better progressive creds.

Do Dems keep HRC around so she can get the shite best out of her by their candidate?
Let her run and have whoever ruin her? Maybe that is the play.

The last election nearly killed her.....she would have to campaign for 2020 in an iron lung.

That wouldn't make too much sense to me. I don't think the dems want to remind the population about hillary. She seemed old in 2016, and will just be 4 years older.
If I were going to bet who wins the nomination, I would go with Joe Biden. he would have won in 2016 if he had ran. No one wanted hillary.

I don't see her getting the nomination. but she could cause issues and financial problems for the Dems running to get the bid.
I expect Hillary to form committee and then in true Clinton-Style wait for some Democrat backer to pay her to back off.
She knows there is money to be made in not running.

Hillary knows where all of the bodies are buried. She knows all of the illegal acts that Obama committed. She knows that it was her campaign that created the Steele dossier and she knows that all the Dems and mass media knew that.
If she gives the ultimatum that "It's me or I blow the roof off of this whole Motherfricker", the Dems will have a tough decision. I, for one, hope that HRC runs again.

Never will run again

You think creepy Joe doesn't have a bunch of skeletons in the closet? Guaranteed the Clintons know them all and would have used as many as necessary to force him out.

The Dems have to run a black or Hispanic candidate. Their ideas are so unpopular that the only way they can win is through massive turnout in targeted communities based on nothing more than tribal affiliations.
They don't have to run a black or Hispanic candidate. They just need to run a candidate who has less baggage than Hillary.
Don't get to giddy over the 2016 results. Trump is less popular now than just after the election. And next time he won't be running against Hillary.
