I think quality polling is VERY accurate. I think traditionally, polling has become political and the samples have been manipulated to move results maybe 5-10 points.
When multiple polls show 30-50 point leads, only a moron dismisses it. The fricking averages are showing a 55 point lead right now.

My understanding of polls is just fine. You made a point that polls are accurate because of statistics and I'm simply wondering if you think that's always the case.
You answered. I'd only add that "quality" isn't just about how many and who is polled, but the formulation of the question can bias polls.
