Come on. Lying about only talking over phone when in reality you were texting. What the hell is the point of not being truthful there?

That’s what is so frustrating. There was zero reason for many of the these people to lie. Their underlying activity was not a big deal nor even close to being illegal.

Many of us on here were trying to find out what Wikileaks had

If I was called to testify in front of congress or mueller, I would without hesitation tell the truth that I tried very hard on twitter, 4chan, etc to find out what the goods were. It wasn’t an illegal act

And completely immaterial. Would not be a charge in any other investigation.

Do we know he intentionally lied or that he said what he thought was true but evidence later showed was inaccurate?

Obstruction of Justice is the single worst crime in the federal books. Why people even choose to speak to the Feds anymore is beyond me.

But you don’t know how the questions were asked. It’s pretty easy to be innocuously pushed into a lie due to phrasing of the question and based on your answer to that.

Loaded questions can railroad anyone

I believe this is one of those “depends on what the meaning of “is” is” moments.

If he texted them, that’s TECHNICALLY still talking over the phone.

He not only lied but told his buddy Credico to lie to Congress like Frankie Five-Angels did to protect Michael Corleone in The Godfather.

Props for going a bit deeper than your standard Godfather reference, though.

It's nuts to talk to the Feds about anything beyond name, rank and serial number. You might as well think of yourself as a Resistance Fighter being interrogated by the Gestapo. They will make you confess about the people hiding under your floorboards. Then you blow them up while they are in a movie theater.

It's too much trouble. I'm 12.

You don't know their underlying activity. We'll find out.

This. You guys forget he is being investigated over several hours and asked hundreds of specific questions about things that are months are even years old.

Mr. Stone when you last spoke with your wife on October 6th of 2018 how long was the conversation? Ah hah, it was not a conversation it was a text, you lied....

Yes its that easy and exactly what they intend.

With Flynn it was the same, they asked a question about him speaking with the russians on Wednesday, when he replied it was deemed a lie because he had spoken with them on a Tuesday. The friggin dinner they incriminated him for he briefed intel BEFORE AND AFTER he went, does that sound like collusion.

If the guys are guilty Im all for charging them, but this horseshite gestapo stuff has no place in a democracy.

mueller will get his due, and that arsehole should be ashamed to call himself an American.

That's the accusation. They also accused Kavanaugh of gang raping women.
Innocent until proven guilty, remember?

90 indictments and two years later....and we are always just about to find out the real dirt. When will it get here? Y’all must be tired of process crimes. Where is the collusion???

When the contents of the investigation are released. Why is that hard for you to understand?
