There is probably 70 other things you should listen to them debate about before wondering what their stance on evolution is.

And yet when they are interviewed, guess what the "go to" question from the "impartial, objective" interviewer is?

Good to know that you will be tuning in with an open mind to ascertain who may he the best leader for our country. Life must be very simple for you.

I can't wait until the next Civil War when it will be open season on liberals and enemies of the state.

This "I can't wait..." game is fun.

What does one's belief about evolution have to do with being President? Are you really that dumb to use that as a criteria for voting?

You have to understand, many individuals latch onto certain words with the belief that, by throwing them around in public, they will be viewed as more intelligent than they actually are.

It is the basis for the smug characterization that fits many of these individuals.

"Science, evolution, etc.," are all examples. People use them with very little understanding of what they are actually saying.

I do have an issue with a candidate denying evolution. It's not an absolute part of a litmus test, but I do question the education and intellect of someone who denies evolution.

I think in most cases, they know that evolution is a fact, but can't say that if they want to win their base. Which speaks a whole lot to one side's base.

Granted, there are retarded issues Democrats are supposed to support for their base to like them, too. It's very much a two way street.

The first step is acceptance.

They then destroy the view of themselves as being intelligent by saying "they could care less".

Aside from the lack of substance from the OP, you gotta admit, the GOP primaries/candidates for Prez are entertaining and must-see-TV:

--2008 capped it off by giving us the chicken hawk himself, John McCain, and, in a desperate attempt to woo women voters chaffing from Hillary's loss, the legendary Sarah Palin. From her 'nails on chalkboard' screech-talk, to her complete cluelessness on everything political, this gal gave SNL more satire pieces than they could ever wet dream.

--2012 was no slouch either. It started off with Herman Cain's '999' plan. Then came Newt with $2.50 gas. Not to be out done, Michelle 'Crazy-Eyes' Bachman threw her brain, err, hat into the fray(does anyone remember her 'Tea Party Response' to the SOTU address where she seemed to be staring at the ceiling?)The Aggies gave us Rick Perry and his stroke-like response to every question. And who could forget the Donald? Whether he intended to be a serious candidate or not, his 'money ultimatums' to the President, his search for the truth about the birthing process and how it is documented, and his mouth in general, was priceless.

The peanut gallery for 2016 is certainly shaping up to be promising. We have what is shaping up to be a certifiable nut in Ben Carson. The Pauls have been beating the war drums for some time now. Ted Cruz is in. If we could get a few more laughs in this next cycle, it wouldn't hurt a bit

Sure. To each their own. As long as they don't let their personal beliefs on that matter impact aspects of research or policy decisions, I have no issues with whatever their stance is.

As everything seems to be.

Quite frankly, both.

Democrat candidate who believes in evolution will never be asked whether they believe in evolution (duh).

Republican candidate who believes in creation will absolutely be asked whether they believe in creation (absolute imbecile).

It is the litmus test of the Left and (to a lesser extent) the Right as well.

Creationism = Unintelligent

I can't wait for the democrat debates. 10 assholes, most who don't believe their own citizens are smart enough to obtain ID's or care for themselves.
