I can’t stop being angry about this SVB thing and Yellen makes it worse

Lankford v Yellen

Not sure if we discussed this clip, but Lankford successfully demonstrated the whole problem with this.

The centralization of everything from the products we buy, to the storage of our data in the “convenient” cloud (don’t even start me on this bullshite), to the storage of our money in 4 banks - provides too much power to “private” entities beholden to no government- but that actually run the government.

It is how they unperson you.

It is dangerous and I fear it’s too late to stop it.

Plus I still can’t believe my small bank is about to have to pay back fricking Oprah and a bunch of Chinese Communists.

It makes me want to pull all my hair out and move off the grid. If I were good at keeping plants alive, I probably would.

I want nothing to do with Big Banks, Big Tech, Big Government, Big Business, or Big Law.

Janet Yellen and her entire family are lifelong ivy league university professors. The absolute worst possible people you want with their hands on centralized power.

Would you like the government to insure all depositors fully, regardless of systemic risk factors or protect none above the 250k threshold?

You can still bank w your community bank, you just have to manage your exposure.

Unless you're a close enough confidant of the elite DC community.

Basically, she states what we all know; they bailed out the “ special “ interest of this administration, but insinuates that everyone else is at risks, especially if you have more than $250 grand in any account. Let the bank runs in those accounts commence

Decentralization is their biggest threat.

DC needs to be neutered and bureaucracy scattered to the 4 corners of the country.

I don't care much for yellen. She is a Brown graduate and from what I have read about her she has never had a real job in her life. She has never owned a private business or had to meet a payroll.
I do not trust her.

No.

I don’t want them to insure all the special and important depositors at SVB either

What about all the normal non-important depositors? Let the teachers pension fund get fricked too?

Then what do you do with all the assets?

You realize you’re the one insuring depositors, not the federal government, right?

What is the rule - should be the rule for everyone.

This whole SVB Thing is a perfect example of rules for thee but not for me.

I listened to some of that QA with Yellen and that shite was not only shocking it was depressing. That incompetent woman was the Fed Chairman. I keep telling people to recall the past, remember the players, and connect the dots. Is it any wonder this nation is facing a potential bank system meltdown and a sovereign debt crisis when people like Yellen are steering monetary policy?

Rules don't matter to the DEMS.....they change them as they go to benefit the narrative and the vote, period.

No one can debate this fact!

It all goes back to “let a liberal/democrat touch it and it all goes to schite”, phrase again.

I think the scariest part of Yellen's testimony was she stating that going forward she and the President will decide who gets bailed out. Damn I missed that part in the Constitution of in federal law.

Maybe Wednesday can find that for us.

I do, by the way, think she is one of the smartest and most grounded posted here.
