Unfortunately he hires who’s he’s told to hire if he doesn’t have prior experience with that particular job. Since he has never been in government, he relied on other’s inputs as to who to place in certain positions. It just so happens that those people whom he trusted were members of the swamp who were only interested in perpetuating their money train.

Dude signaled that he’s play ball with the Biden administration. Probably proactively wanted to stay in the position, whereas most such officials are ready to get the hell outta Dodge once the POTUS who appointed them leaves office.

While he was President, Trump graciously refrained from pushing and pressuring behind the scenes to utilize the FBI to effectuate a very public investigation of Biden and or Clinton. He’s just the better man.
