I agree with everything in your post. It sucks, because I’ve watched and absolutely loved NFL Sunday’s like no other source of entertainment. Watching sports, particularly College and NFL has given me some of my fondest memories and I’ve always said jokingly the football season was the only 4 months worth living. But this, this shite here, really has me questioning if I plan to watch in the future. I don’t want to say that I’m done then have to backtrack because I’ve always laughed at the people that have done that before whether it’s Hollywood stars threatening to leave if so and so is elected or whatever the case. But to make Drew Brees, the most genuinely great Christian family man and A+ teammate have to reduce to this makes me feel sick inside.

I know, I know, the NFL will be fine without me and without you too but we can’t be the only ones feeling this way. I don’t know, man. But right now, I’m really feeling like ‘frick the NFL’.

I will never go to an NFL or NBA game again. When Drew Brees recanted his statements concerning his homage to his patriot grandfathers, for me, he erased all the substantial, well-earned, well-deserved goodwill accumulated in N.O. I think for what he’s accomplished at his position and at his size, he might be a top 5 player in NFL history. He’s now just a sycophantic weakling.

Preach. I'm done with sports, including college. Gave up on the NFL when it cucked to the kneelers.

I hope it ALL flops along with the NBA.

These dudes live in a land with the greatest opportunity for upward financial mobility in the entire world.

And all you hear is bitching & complaining....Françhise Tag $$ ain’t enough....$50 mil contract must be re-negotiated....Cops are pigs... Kneel at the freedom flag. Blah, blah, blah.

Ungrateful bastahds. Can’t support that level of greed & ignorance. Wish more people would not buy tix & ignore them too.

I had stopped watching the NFL a few years ago but followed the Chiefs playoff run. The upcoming season is going to be a pandering, virtue signaling, gaslighting shitshow, so it looks like I'll have Sundays free again for home projects and wifey.

Dumbasses will continue to support the sports market and hollywood communists. These racist (Not Drew) athletes will continue to get paid and will continue to use their voices to incite violence. Until the silent majority has the balls to put an end to it by cutting off the gravy train.

This. I cancelled Netflix and cable two years ago. If I want to see a movie... let's just say I'm not paying for it. Hollywood wont receive another penny from me. I quit the NFL during the Kaepernick fiasco and the list of companies I quit buying from is growing. Asshats will laugh, but I'll grow my own goddamn food before I give a penny to some left wing radical who wants me dead.

I walked away from baseball years ago after the last strike and haven't missed it, about time to do the same with the NFL...

I stopped watching a lot of it after the kneeling bullshite, but now this is the straw that broke the camels back...

I hope the stadiums are empty when it does open back up...

You have to think if there are fans in the stands then ball games will be ripe for protest and disruption

If not cancelled, I hope at least half the league suffer horrific, career ending injuries .

Last few months have made it really clear that spending time with the family outside is way more important than sitting in a crowded stadium with non-stop time outs or in front of the TV with constant commercials flashing.

I think a lot of people are seeing that. People are spending more time with family, as you said, and taking up new hobbies, spending more time doing instead of just watching. Can't even remember the last time I've watched a sports channel.

They'll have this down to college football in a year or two.

The NFL and NBA has shown what it thinks of it’s fans. If you don’t tow the far left lunacy they do t like you. My advice is don’t support or watch them. Dont go to the games and buy merchandise..it’s not that hard, pick up fishing, golf, Mtn biking, camping... screw em

Now the virtue signaling is infecting college football. It saddens me to say this, but I may have to give up sports altogether. I’m not going to contribute to pushing a narrative that isn’t based on statistics. If equality isn’t good enough then that’s too bad because I’m not supporting special treatment of any race.

I wanna see some unity. I wanna see Drew Brees throwing touchdown passes to black receivers. I wanna see African American offensive linemen blocking white and black defensive players so Drew Brews can throw them TD’s. I wanna see a Black & Gold SUPER BOWL victory parade on MLK Blvd in NOLA!!!!!
