Given people the Taliban want to kill are typically people who helped your country during their occupation I'd suggest they are people you should want in your country to show thanks.

How many of their family etc. could be a different conversation

Again, your literal point was that since the Taliban wants to kill this person, it makes you want him out of this country even more than a person they don't want dead. Read your quote again one more time in case you forgot.

quote:

If people in his own country are trying to kill him then is that really the people who we want in OUR country? "The answer is frick NO.

The delineating factor you set is whether the Taliban wants him dead or doesn't want him dead and your comment logically implies you want those they want dead to be removed from this country more than those they don't want dead.
Seems pretty dumb. If you had a choice, you would prefer an Afgani that the Taliban approves of? I sure as shite prefer this guy over a Taliban approved refugee.

I don’t give a frick if this dude is here or not - I don’t care. What I care about is that this fricking guy had a long time to become a LEGAL US citizen and he was too fricking lazy to do it - now that he is going to get deported for it he is crying like a little bitch

You might want to check out the reason why they wanted to kill him.

It was because he was extremely pro American.

Again....your made it a clear delineating factor that because the Taliban wants him dead, you want him out. It was your first statement on this thread. You clearly "gave a frick" that the Taliban wants him dead and that fact makes you want him gone.

I know you are not constructed to admit you made a retarded statement so I am going let you be.

He came to the US in 2021.

In your (no doubt "vast") experience, how long does it take for a war refugee to obtain US citizenship?
quote:

It takes a minimum of 6 years for a war refugee to become a U.S. citizen, as they must first become a lawful permanent resident (green card holder) by applying for asylum and then waiting for the green card, before applying for naturalization. The process includes the time spent waiting for asylum, a period of one year to apply for the green card, and finally, the 5 years of lawful permanent residency.

Here is what he needed to do and according to the article he did just that. He was picked up while he still had an active parole, which was only revoked because he was picked up. Is there something else you wanted him to do?

They can self deport to the country of their choice if they don’t want to go home. Problem solved.

ILLEGAL immigrants have been "encouraged" to self-deport. By all indications, this man was anything BUT illegal.

Now, Trump (to throw raw meat to certain of his followers) is simply revoking the legal status of large numbers of people just like "H" and seeking to hurl them out of the country.

How does one "follow the rules," when a wannabe authoritarian is making unilateral and fundamental changes in the rules that one has been following since entering the US?

If the circumstance under discussion involves deportation of a non-citizen, it would appear that such an undertaking is not required.

Deportation good! Always!

Unless he actively helped US Troops in Afghanistan. I don't want to hear it. He is just saying that the Taliban gonna kill him to not be deported. If thats not the case. He should have migrated to a different country.
