After Christmas day and the relatives left the TV was on CBS and the Stephen Colbert show came on. Man that guy has a serious case of TDS.

His life apparently revolves around Trump. Very unfunny. But the clapping seals were very obedient to Colbert and laughed and applauded on cue according to the laugh and applaud signs.

That was the first time I've ever seen the Stephen Colbert show. It wouldn't surprise me if he ended up in a mental institution. The guy has a serious case of TDS.

It's actually kinda sad that they don't realize:

They have no talent, zero.

They don't entertain or make people laugh by original content, or things that are of their creation.

They get laughs and applause by bashing Trump. That's it.

What are these clowns going to do when Trump is gone?

They all hate him, yet their entire industry is dependent upon him right now.

The demo that Colbert is appealing to has to be very small and not much room for growth. I mean, my two high school kids don't even know who Stephen Colbert is. They have never heard of the name.

Of course they are the generation that gets their entertainment from online. They don't watch traditional TV. They watch YouTube and other online entertainment.

All those shows are the same. Trevor Noah wouldn't have a show if Trump wasn't GEOTUS.

TDS is real!

Because I sat on the couch exhausted from a full day of cooking, eating and drinking and the remote was 15 feet from me and I didn't feel like getting up.

Sounds like a Colbert joke.

I have not watched him since he left Comedy Central, but THEN he was the best political satirist in the country.

Disagree with his views, but claiming he has no talent just makes YOU look stupid.

John Stewart was much better.

Applies to all Late Night TV.
quote:

Rob Schneider on SNL: "Much late night comedy is less about being funny and more about Indoctrination by comedic imposition. People aren't really laughing at it as much as cheering on the rhetoric. It no longer resembles a comedy show, it's more like some kind of liberal Klan meeting"

I was in the play "Arms and the Man" with Colbert 30 years ago. He was a very talented actor and a very nice guy. He actually was pretty conservative back then, though politics did not come up too often backstage. Really nice guy.

That's it. It's like comedic confirmation bias confirmation.

Fallon is still funny. Kimmel can be funny when he's not busy turning in to a woman. Colbert isn't funny even when he's not being political.

The only reason I would watch Colbert would be with the hopes of seeing that fricker have a stroke or seeing his head explode into a mist or seeing blood come flowing out of his eyes and ears before he flopped down and went into a death twitch choking on his swollen tongue.

He’s a South Carolinian ... most of us don’t claim the sorry bastard.
