if the electors do not pick someone by majority
house votes on the top three vote getters.
2nd round, the house can vote as they please.
the GOP just has to cooperate and split their vote in round one
and then pick Ryan on the 2nd ballot.
no Trump. no silly tariff. no wall. no purge of the voter rolls of the 2 million illegal aliens. no change to NAFTA.

For all of you who think this would result in a revolution you are deluded beyond words.
First of all lets establish right off the bat....it ain't going to happen.
But for the sake of discussion lets say it did....first off the electors would be reflecting the will of the people by a fairly sizable number. When you take the word of most Trump supporters you would also have to consider that a gracious plenty of people who voted for Trump are not particularly happy about their choice they just didn't see an alternative. Combine this with the number of people who voted for third party candidates and most of the people who took the time to vote either voted against Donald Trump OR voted for him with their nose pinched shut against the stench.
So, that leaves us with the folks who LOVE them some Trump. Their numbers are small when compared to those who don't. A good many of them are also without the means to cause much trouble, if you listen to them whine about how put upon they have been over the years. When they revolt all you have to do is cut off their social security and medicare and they will fall right in line with anything anyone asks of them (they may well find that their lord and savior is going to do this anyway...I certainly hope he does, the dead beat frickers...I hope Trump and the GOP throws all of 'em off the dole).
So what will happen if the electors place Clinton in the Whitehouse...nothing more than a bunch of wailing and gnashing of teeth....ya'll will forget all about it by the time the Super Bowl commercials are out.....

Electors that pull that crap had best second-think just how their communities will react. Life will take a radical change for anybody that chooses that path.
