If the trial for hydoxychloroquine works wonders in New York, how long will it take the media to shift from,” Trump was providing false hope by pushing the drug” to “Why doesn’t the Trump administration have enough of the drug to go around?”

The MSM would clearly like for chloroquine to be ineffective, but even if it works they will twist themselves into knots to avoid saying Trump & pals were correct.

I mean reports are coming out every few hours now about its success

OP is asking when it becomes widely accepted that it is a successful treatment, what will the MSM shift the narrative to in order to discredit Drumph.

BTW I think you're going to continue to see articles like this discouraging the use

I didn't read the whole thing because it's a bit lengthy but it doesn't really require you to get past the headline and the first few paragraphs to know it's a slam piece on Trump saying how these recommendations are dangerous

Anyone thinking that there should be enough of anything, medically speaking, for everybody in the U.S. is a fool of the highest caliber.

This is a known drug that’s been around a long time. Imagine it were Tylenol instead. These people would be saying “ well Tylenol hasn’t been tested to treat this disease, it might be dangerous. You might better just take your chances and die instead... much safer that way”. How fricking absurd!

Oh they know it works and that it works well but they can’t afford for you to believe this or have hope. They need to prolong this crisis as long as possible to inflict maximum damage to the economy and to Trump.

I have to ask, "Who makes it?" Because whoever that is has three shifts running on "ludicrous speed".

Price gouging laws are probably stifling production tbh.

Guaranteed purchase orders should fix that. Zero risk and retail profit. Plus, likely to get a nice mention at the press conference at some point. Publicity you can't buy.

Now, if most of it is made in China, that's a problem, but it's not like the U.S. can't make it, we just don't. The United States can make almost anything in almost any quantity - just needs to be pointed in the right direction.

That is why it is so refreshing to have a true executive in charge. A guy who understands prioritization, risk decisions, messaging and confidence. In all honesty, we haven't had anything like that at in the Oval Office since January 1989.

Bad news, our hospital network has informed us of an Azithromycin shortage and our network is unable to order more.

Don't know how much we have on hand but they are limiting it to be given to only Covid-19 patients.

I guess this stuff is only made in China and India now. Better fire that production up in the USA asap.

It will spin on a dime. The bashing will not stop. It is a shame he wasn't born in Kenya, so he too could get a free pass.

There's plenty. Gov't been buying up for 2 years per our wholesaler.

Biaxin or Doxycyline will probable work as well. Not to mention many antivirals that have shown benefit and of use in Europe and China.

If Bayer makes it, there will be a nearly unlimited supply of it in short order.

3 years from now when this is over, how many shipping containers full of Chloroquine will we find in a New Jersey land fill?

And ventilators, gowns, surgical masks, N95s all in their original packing material that were hoarded by Cuomo and his ilk?
