Now on the nextdoor app, his animal loving neighbors are demanding he be brought up on animal cruelty charges and that the HOA repossess his house...

Do you know what a bobcat is? They’re about the size of an 18 month old. And adult male could easily pick one up, overpower it and throw it a good distance.

That baw calmly grabbed that bobcat like it was nothing and then chunked it across the yard lmao

I get the impression he thought it was a large house cat or something at first. Then he held it up and got a good look, hence the "Oh my god! It's a bobcat!" that was promptly followed by him chucking it across the yard.

His morning went from "Hi neighbor! Oooh, looks like the old wagon needs a bath" to "frick YOU, CAT FROM HELL!!!" in 0.4 seconds.

This made me laugh more than I should have probably. Well done

I certainly would have pulled pistol at the toss and started shooting immediately.

The neighbor fricked that up. She was in his way.

Luckily that wasn't a bigger bobcat. The sucker living behind my house in the hollar is almost the size of a border collie.

Don't think it would have bothered that dude if it had been a big one though. That's a serious "Baw of the Year" contender right there.

I wonder what was in the animal carrier? You can hear growling before the attack.

I watched again and I noticed the lady was holding a cat carrier. Maybe it was going after her pet?

That is fake. You do not pick up a bobcat, much less carry it for several seconds before throwing it, and live to tell about it.

Hopefully she didn’t get bit/scratched. It’s VERY unusual for a bobcat to aggressively approach an adult human and I’d be concerned about rabies in this situation.

It wasn’t attacking the wife it was attacking the cat carrier she was holding.

Are you a city boy? You catch him in the nape of the neck (as I think he did) and avoid the teeth, you will get scratched by the claws but no way he dies.

Again, VERY unusual especially given that it occurred during daylight hours. Bobcats usually avoid adults at all cost, and this one actively sprinted across a large distance to attack one. Most human interactions with them occur when they’re going after small pets in the yard or small children.

She was holding a small pet carrier. The bobcat may have heard the pet inside and bolted for it.

If you don’t get a few scratches when handling pussy you’re not doing it right.
