If he does testify, does anyone really expect him to tell the truth? And does anyone think he will fave any consequences for perjury?

Because it was a shitty argument and it won't be dismissed.

I found a live cam of Hunter Biden's preparation, but apparently he's taking a snack break right now.

He'd better be prepping for Durham's Criminal Grand Jury, where there will be no Dems to carry his lies. Money laundering, tax/campaign donation violations, wire transfers (fraud), collusion with the Chinese (I.e., Treason). Dude is in deep. Might want to check his drug stash; he'll need it.

Wouldn't surprise me.

Frankly, I'd laugh like the Jaguars fan.

If you plead the fif incorrectly, they can force you to testify anyway.

I would put Joe Biden up there and roast him, he doesn't dare take the Fifth. I think you can break him.

I think there's a very real possibility that Joe would go full Col. Nathan Jessup if they put him on the stand. Too volatile a mixture of hubris and stupidity. He wouldn't be able to control himself.

That's one of the reasons I think he fights being called tooth and nail. His handlers know it'd be far too risky.

Josh Hawley (R-MO) just said that, because the House Managers have focused on the Bidens so much in their presentation, Joe and Hunter will have to be called as witnesses in the trial.

Things might get interesting next week.

This guy is a serious upgrade over McCaskill.

Thank you Missouri.

No there isn't. People in his class do not get prosecuted for perjury. It doesn't matter how provable the lie he tells is.

I've got a suggestion for Trump's team to be considering as a line of questioning for Joe:

******

Mr. Biden, you, as well as others arguing on your behalf, have asserted that as the highest ranking U.S. official for Ukrainian matters you were actively seeking the firing of Ukrainian Prosecutor General Vicktor Shokin based on allegations of significant corruption on his part. Further, that you sought to do so in accordance with "official policy" of the U.S. government as well as governments of the European Union.

Would you agree that your pursuit to oust Prosecutor General Shokin was actively endorsed by the highest levels of the U.S. and European governments?

Please list in as much detail as possible all specific allegations against Victor Shokin of the "significant corruption" that lead to these high levels of government proactively seeking his ouster.

******

I mean, can anyone cite any of these alleged instances of substantial corruption that would warrant the highest levels of the most powerful governments in the world being so outraged and concerned with Shokin that they deemed his ouster SUCH a priority?? One would think that somebody like Joe Biden, considering the suspicions surrounding him, would ever be at the ready with examples of Shokin corruption that are so serious that Biden's justification in pursuing Shokin so aggressively cannot be questioned.

But I never hear a single specific example of justification. Very strange.
