I have been contacted by an investment bank out of Denver offering an extremely attractive price per acre for our farm. Someone is driving up the price of farmland and there aren’t any farmers that can afford the new new price.
Almost across the board, row crop land is a max 4% return before tax and expenses. There is zero way for these investment banks to turn a profit at the prices they are paying.

In addition to foreign holdings, Gates also has a lot of land in Louisiana.

Somebody through a NGO was looking to buy up huge swaths and build something around 300 units near Newport AR.

Figured it was for illegals. I think that was a front to just obtain the land. 300 units and the NGO were probably fictitious.

She's a pretty good governor so far.
