I understand that it will take 60 votes.....

Bill Cassidy worries me! This vote will further expose the DC SWAMP, IMO.

I would encourage all to contact your politicians....if it really helps anymore.

Our founders believed this was a pretty important issue...the 2ND AMENDMENT!
I think it is horribly important!

This does absolutely nothing

No amount of phone calls, texts, emails, etc., are going to change anyone’s mind at this point

As you likely have derived, I’m in Georgia, so, next question.

Rand definitely against gun control
Mitch will vote no because if he doesn't he can't ever come back to Kentucky. The *Kentucky rifle team will use his nose as a target at 600 yards.

*2021 NCAA champions.

Both TN Senators will stand for the 2A.

Ours would not be able to step foot in Mississippi again if they voted for anything restrictive to gun ownership for legal folks to own one.

My hope is Tennessee becomes a 2A Sanctuary state. There is a bill that just has one more step that allows everyone in TN to legally carry without permit. TN is def a gun state when you take the pussies from Nashville and shite politicians in Memphis out of the picture.

I have no fears on how Cruz will vote. Cornyn is another matter entirely. I have no faith in his fidelity to the Constitution.

Does the new bill allow concealed and/or open carry?

I believe it’s both. I have an enhanced carry permit which allows either and our Governor is trying to make that a right for all Tennesseans.

I would think Hawley is a definite no. Blunt I’m not sure about but I would lean no for him too.

I feel pretty good about how Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty will vote.

I think this is largely symobolic with little standing when it comes to draconian 2A attacks by the demoncrats.

To my understanding it means the state will not use resources to go after guns. But Feds can.

I expect Cassidy to vote like the bitch that he is.

Kennedy, while quite an enjoyable fellow, is still just a politician.

I have no faith or trust in anything DC.

Louisiana better pass HB16 and allow Constitutional Carry and make us a Sanctuary State

I'm not holding my breath though.

I don’t know. There have been rumblings about stuff manufactured in state being exempt from federal NFA laws as long as it stays in state. So suppressors, SBR/SBS manufactured here would be ok here. And Tennessee has tons of firearms and a couple ammunition manufacturers in state.

I say that we're safe in the Senate and House as far as Louisiana goes. Kennedy will cancel a Cassidy's vote if he goes the other way, but I don't think he will even thought Cassidy is a Rhino. We're solid in the House. They're already saying the Biden's call for more gun control is in trouble in the Senate.
