Why would you ever ask that question at that moment

Don't care about this shite tbh.
Kashoggi went to Turkey to the Saudi embassy. The end.
Seriously, why tf did he go there knowing they could do whatever tf they wanted to?
I don't care. Not my concern.

Did the “journalist” participate in a coup attempt against MBS?
Posted on 11/20/25 at 4:38 pm to IvoryBillMatt
Khashoggi was a U.S. resident who lived in Virginia and worked for The Washington Post. He graduated from Indiana State University and two of his kids were American citizens born in America.
I remember when Republicans would be outraged if Muslim assassins killed someone like that.

I'm all ears. You think the functional leader of Saudi Arabia had nothing to do with the death of a journalist in their consulate?
I didn't remember ANY reporting at the time challenging that...I will search, unless you have some link for me.
Thanks

He should have slapped the shite out of her.
If she had a set of parents, she would know that was completely unacceptable in any type of setting before she reached the age of 10. Hell, my parents are in their 80’s and would slap the shite out of me if I allowed that to happen in my own home as it’s a rotten reflection upon them.
It was a black eye upon the United States as a whole and say what you will about Arabic culture but they know how to treat guests in their homes and the decorum expected.

The Saudis killed a Saudi journalist in Turkey.
And we give a frick why?
Why when no peep about journalists attacked (physically) in Portland and other Antifa events, political candidates for the 'wrong' side have attempts on their life, repeatedly, and right leaning public figures are killed on college campuses all encouraged by dehumanizing speech from the left.

Khashoggi was a U.S. resident

Had your new take been the original premise, my response would have been quite different.
Your contention was "The CIA found unequivocally that the Crown Prince ordered the execution of a journalist."
That is complete horseshite!

I think that was what was reported...which is why it made sense that Trump's CIA concluded that MSB had him murdered.
So, you agree that Trump knew Trump was lying when he said "MSB didn't know anything about it," right? I'm not saying it WASN'T the right thing for Trump to do. I was just curious what the Board thought.

Why would you not? We have a free press. Some people think it's not in our country's interest to be in bed with the Saudi regime.
Personally, I think it's a good alliance for us.

It’s not always morally incorrect to lie. That’s virtually universally accepted. I don’t see a huge moral quandary in telling a lie in this instance.

Again, yes. That's why MBS had him killed. The question is should the President have lied about that?
