I’m very satisfied with the way the university handled the Sully statue issue.
Overall, no complaints from me.
The left will gain a legitimate foothold at TAMU when conservatives take over UC Berkeley.

ASU placed a BLM logo on the frontside of its massive football scoreboard. I cancelled my season tickets the following day. That, coupled with our inept AD inexplicably hiring his former client - Herm Edwards - when he was in the sports/entertainment agent business sealed the deal. Never has there been a more overt example of nepotism in college football. Herm has no business coaching ASU football.

Life long LSU and Saints fan. I stopped watching pro baseball and basketball probably 3 years ago. I now live in Colorado and will only watch LSU or Saints on tv if it’s prime time game. I will never give them money for a ticket.

I'd have to say that I'm in the same thought process as you. I'm a cradle LSU fan. Have had football season tickets, as a young person as early as 6 years old on my dads tickets, then some 38 years ago having them transferred to my name. Have had LSU season baseball tickets since 1990. Went to school at LSU in my college days. I've donated to TAF for the past 20 years. That ended this year as I will not contribute any longer. I am not really interested in attending either football nor baseball any longer, and I found myself not paying much attention if any at all to any games involving LSU since the university joined themselves at the hip to the woke movement. I really haven't missed going out there to attend any games. Sports just doesn't seem that important to me any longer.

Letters of Marque and Reprisal were something of a hobbyhorse for Ron Paul after 9/11. He insisted that instead of invading Afghanistan, we should have paid mercenaries to kill Bin Laden.

This kind of administrative bloat is everywhere, and it's one of the reasons that the current college system should die. When the Centenary guy mentioned his Alma Mater, I got curious and looked them up on Wikipedia (because I really hadn't heard the name since Auburn played them in basketball years ago). I was stunned to see that, according to Wikipedia, this little private college had a staff member for every three students, undergrad and grad combined. Even combining every single person that pulls a full time paycheck there... garbagemen, lunch ladies, etc, that's frickin' ridiculous. I wouldn't be shocked if state colleges were much better.

I follow LSU sports much less closely now. Some of that is just getting older but much of it is the SJW shite.

I’ve cut out pro sports altogether. Rarely watch Saints or MLB anymore.

The shocking part is how little I miss it. My weekends in the fall are clear now and I don’t feel obliged to catch baseball scores every night in the summer.

Guess I missed this, but I don't pay close attention... but I do know that if I had been a donor, that would be over now.

It's unbelievable how quickly things literally fell to pieces in the past 18 months.

LSU seems to be doing everything it can to ostracize the overwhelming majority of its alumni base.

The last straw for me was when LSU lit up Tiger Stadium to honor George Floyd — a man who spent his life terrorizing and victimizing others.

When I graduated from LSU, as an alumnus, the university challenged me to go out in life and Love Purple, Live Gold. Until LSU can prove to me specifically how Floyd exemplified that standard of living gold, I will never give another cent to the school.

I have reverted back to fandom for my high school - Leesville, LA. Do not follow sports at all any more - will tune in to watch LSU football in the fall, but the thrill is gone.

Last truly happy day for me was the 2019 Tigers Nat'l Championship game - the entire world seemed to begin falling after that.

Just about everything since that day has been utter disaster for America.

Wokeness at LSU certainly has impacted my following of the university and of the sports programs. I don’t care nearly as much anymore.

I’ve quit all professional sports as a result.

I have given up on LSU and professional sports. I have also learned that I can live without sports.
