Not going to happen. Best we can hope for is making the first round of tax cuts permanent. Taxes on tips would be more likely.

I don't see it happening. The people who write and vote on laws are salaried employees who would not benefit from this.

1% because congress and the senate don’t want to help American citizens. Especially hard working blue collar workers.

Well, all of your Democrat pals claimed to be for it after your girl Kama-lama-ding-dong STOLE the idea from Trump. But since she lost, your Dem buddies in the House have all voted against it at least once already.

I keep waiting for just one of you progtards to be honest about something. ANYTHING.

Trump stole the idea from Ron Paul's 2012 campaign:

January 31, 2012
"Ending taxes on tips will give workers a pay raise, letting them keep more money to put toward a house or car payment, retirement, or their own and/or their children's education." — Ron Paul

0% chance it or the no tax on tips makes it into law. That’s just campaign BS that was promised to get Union votes. The GOP will never follow through on it. Massie will torpedo it.

Let's not reduce taxes because we already have a complicated tax code.

That's not what he wrote....

As far as reducing taxes, yeah let's do it but not in a way that further exacerbates the problem we already have with the IRC creating winners and losers. We already have progressive rates. We already have phaseout of tax goodies at high income levels. Why should I be for earning my living at an even higher relative ETR?
