And, if you would look closer, you would see that these type of churches have gone away from their original roots and perverted scripture to fit their agenda. When that agenda then goes against other parts of scripture then it is all wrong. Study to show thyself approved unto God. A workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth. 2Timothy 2:15. The importance of diligent study is necessary for anyone calling themselves a Christian

The New Testament expressly condemns homosexuality in multiple places.

She cares for the church and the congregation and you can see that. If we really want to get at the root of God’s teachings, I think she represents what we were taught as children. To love each other and treat everyone with respect.

Just my take based on experience.
here you go, op. the answer to your question. pure willful stupidity.

There are multiple scriptures that describe these churches, most notably, “many will say to me Lord, Lord…

Gays don't have children so therefore they have more money.
What did Jesus say about the "Love of Money"?

Honestly, I couldn’t see you going to a “church” that didn’t have a lesbian pastor.

So do these churches abandon sola scriptura or do they just greatly manipulate the scripture to fit their political agenda?
Yes.

PINO churches have been taken over by atheists and agnostics, and are just social clubs at this point

They view the text through post-postmodern lenses. So the text doesn’t mean anything other than what they want it to mean. And it’s not viewed as having any real authority anyway. So you just underline stuff you like. Reinterpret it through critical theory and away you go.

Because they claim that God made them that way. However, they generally run from this argument when defending the trans.

Catholicism welcomes homosexuals but they cannot act on their homosexual urges.

Not about religion. SFP knows less about religion than a 4th grader. Which is impressive. It’s a kind of unlearning that he’s studiously engaged in for what I can only imagine is decades.

I will say this. My wife and I recently relocated to D.C. from Raleigh. We miss NC but one of the main reasons we are acclimating is our Protestant Reformist church. They happen to have a woman pastor at the moment. I am also certain she is a lesbian but she doesn’t make it an issue and I respect that.

It's a good thoughtful post. However, I disagree.
Until 10 seconds ago [human time], every main stream church would state homosexuality as a sin. Although I am concerned for her salvation, I'm more concerned she is in a position of leadership and the damage she it doing to the flock... and to you.
I can love [in Christ] the lesbian and homosexual man... and have. Even if they are unrepentant. They are welcome in the Church, just not in most Church's leadership. It would be like me living an open marriage, and sleeping around. None would want that type of Priest, Deacon or Elder, youth minister or worship leader.
We lead from the front [like Christ himself], not pushing from behind.
And love means being unconditionally truthful to them.
Finally, it all we need is love, then Christ died for nothing and I don't buy that for a moment.

While the Presbyterian Church USA might fit this, there are many of us Reformed Presbyterians who follow the Bible and don't have female pastors or support gay marriage.
