I was there during the Clinton years and watch talking head after talking head define that guys, along with his wife doing the same. hell, she knew more than anyone else. It was justified by his allies.
Now, another President is in a similar issue and the very talking heads that gave Clinton a pass want to beat down Trump. I find the hypocrisy interesting. Either it matters or it does not. To me, it always has.

No, you don’t accept that as the bar. For modern Presidents on both sides, Truman and Eisenhower are the bar. Both objectively two of the greatest Presidents of all time with incredible moral character. If you accept Bill Clinton as the bar, then we might as well throw up the white flag and surrender. The man is a rapist, and a disgustingly low bar.
