Because obviously they know what is happening and don't want it being exposed.

All that they are trying to figure out is if there is voter fraud, how could any state not want to find out if this is happening?

Personal info? That no longer exists. When I look on the internet one day about an ice cream maker and before dark that day all kinds of ice cream maker ads are popping up, and still are, when I'm logged in to TDs, then privacy has flown out the window.

I'm 100 percent for States Rights.

However, in order for a union to exist, there must be equal representation amongst its members. If that representation comes into question, regarding how the union is to be governed, an should be conducted. Failure to comply shows a willingness to usurp the bonds that tie the union together. That's the start of the union folding.

States Rights should be celebrated except when those right infringe on the binding ties to the Union. It's obvious they are trying to usurp the process by which federal elections are held.

Yeah, that is some highly volatile info, right there, because the Feds don't already know Americans' birth dates, their social security numbers, and their felonious convictions.

Think before you post, man.

I hate to inform you but the federal government already has your date of birth, full social security number and can search NICS for your criminal record. So the only thing they really want is the name that the voter rolls have that are connected to these other parameters, to see how many people are registered in multiple locations, are dead, are illegal immigrants, etc...

But the release of that information would reveal how many illegal votes have been cast, and that would be harmful to the democrats.

So, states' rights are only a fair argument when it suits your political bent. Got it.

Give the Feds what's on the public voter rolls. It's their investigation, why should the states do all of their legwork?

Handing over personal info? You say that like the Federal Government doesn't already possess the birth dates, social security numbers and felony convictions of every single American alive today. I'm lmfao over here at the thought of you not realizing that the government is the one that gave you your social security number in the first place. Of course they have that info.

They aren't asking states to turn over any personal information on you that they don't already have. They are simply trying to match voter records to that info so that they can determine whether or not people who were ineligible to vote voted. That was something that democrats were demanding just a few months ago.

Are you asking in a "what's your opinion" or in a "how do they get away with it"?

Because the first is that they should cooperate, assuming that the people mandating it are paying for it.

If it's the second, there's certain levels of state sovereignty that we shouldn't ignore just because we disagree with the outcome.

Why don't the Feds buy the data or download it or collect it like any other citizen can? I don't see the big deal.

they also have the right to not have their electoral votes counted in federal elections if they will not cooperate with investigations into voting integrity.

Most states incorporate both at the same time. I don't recall ever going to an election that ONLY had Federal elections on the ballot.

They need data like the last 4 SSN digits in order to avoid false positives. The prog bitches complained about false positives before, but now they don't want to help avoid them. Surprising, huh?

Other than a state trying to cover up illegalities, (or in Kentucky's case, dimocratix butt hurt), I can't imagine why they wouldn't. It can't be much more than a couple of keystrokes.

seriously? What personal information of an individual do you think is contained in voter rolls that the federal government does not already have on that individual through the irs and social security administration? You are so stupid it's painful
