What the heck does "it'll hairlip the pope" mean? Is that a saying somewhere?

Oh, DAC definitely sang some very risky shite, but the use of the N word wasn't even bad compared to "Finger frickin Sally" or singing from the perspective of a demented father who just wanted to frick his daughter one last time
He was just the "shock rocker" of pretty much any era of country. I actually met him a few years back at the Sparks America bike rally in central Oklahoma. He took the stage so drunk he could barely stand, and left the stage so drunk he had to be carried off
Like many comedians, if you took him seriously you would hate him. But if you just understood he was being very deliberately outrageous, he's actually funny as hell... if you have the right sense of humor.

My MIL was fond of saying, “”I don’t care if it hairlips the Pope.”
I took a deep dive on researching it once. All I recall is debate on hairlip v hare lip. When I get some time I’ll have to check that origin again.

This last year has pretty much ruined most of my outside interests. Literally never watch TV anymore. My musicians I like (outlaw country) are showing their true colors. I can't get past some entertainer saying stupid shite then look past it. Athletes are the worst. Blessed by God with amazing physical skills but most are dumb as a box of rocks. My brain just turns the page & moves on down the road. Been enjoying much more outdoors time with the wife (no pics), my boys, & dogs. I get more disgusted every day as I see submissive sheep walking or driving alone with windows up everywhere with their damn masks on. Sickening.
