I love the "it would be worse with Hillary" bull shite here. Do you think that Hillary could have suspended Civil Liberties like the Trump administration did without a damned revolution?
Good point, every single republican Governor and state legislature would have 100% resisted a Democrat administration call for shutdown. But since Trump called for the shutdown, they had to follow his call. The Republican Governors who didn’t follow lockstep (Kemp) got shite on from behind the White House podium and has damaged him in his own state.

Look's like we found a Doug Jones & Hillary supporter.

Here's the problem with you Dems. Trump took shite from the Dem leadership when he shut down travel from China and Europe. He got roasted by them while they were encouraging people to get out and enjoy the festivities in Chinatown.
Fast forward to today, now they are calling for more investigations because "he did act fast enough".
In your eyes, as well as the other liberal scum, he's damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't. That's how we get morons saying things like someone defied a recommendation. That may be the dumbest thing I'll read all day! Defied a recommendation.....LOL!

These threads complaining about Birx and fauci conveniently ignore the elephant in the room
WHO is the man carrying out what they advise?
95% of the populace would have zero clue who either of these doctors are if they hadn’t been marched in front of the podium for 2 hours a day for weeks. They would have each done a Sunday show once, and that’s being generous.

The first projection of deaths I recall from both Fauci and Birx was the 100,000 to 240,000 figure and that appears to be a pretty accurate range.

The President is the President, stop making excuses for him.
Agree.
The thing that so many like about Trump is the fact that he didn't act like he cared what the media or anyone else said about him...until this.
When we needed that the most, he bailed.

She has stayed in her lane, Fauci not so much

This ^^^^ is true. Trump also was negligent in not firing Comey on day one, nominating Sessions, allowing McCabe to be acting FBI Director, putting Wray in as FBI Director, not shite canning Rosenstein.....Trump has assisted in creating a lot of his troubles.

Trump shut the country down over this shite. It’s on him.
Here's your sign.

Trump’s error, maybe his fatal error was in going along with the shutdown of the economy. I believe it will be shown to be totally ineffective and unnecessary. I’m afraid that will cause hi defeat In November. After the fact , Fauci and others will say, it was not effective anyway and that all that was needed was to isolate the at risk population.

I’m an orange blooded patriot like you all but I disagree on this point. Epidemiologists aren’t tasked with running a country or state. Their role is to know the worst case possibilities and then say that everyone is going to die. A legit epidemic is like their super bowl. They’re incapable of being objective and making good decisions for the public on the matter. You keep them around to provide the actual decision makers with a perspective from the scientific community while they mix in a couple fun PSAs about washing your hands.

Exactly. He's never been conned before. This is all on him. I will always remember him blasting Kemp for reopening Georgia "too early".

Governors shut down MUCH of the country, not Trump
Many of them took their lead from Trump. Trump is just as culpable as anyone. He stood up at those pressers telling everyone to stay, don't go out and eat or shop. He's had a HUGE part in this.

The assholes on the left and the media have claimed since day one that Trump was responsible for the spread of the virus because he DID NOT shut the country down fast enough. Even you know that and then you post the above.
He didn't act to "isolate and contain it". I firmly believe its been here since last year but acting earlier in February would have at least have greatly hindered the press of their golden opportunity to create the hysteria they did. He played their little game. The American people ended up being the losers. If he had held strong and not encouraged the shutdown/financial destruction of the nation, he would be; looking at getting 75% of the vote this Fall.
