The numbers certainly aren’t good, but the intangible wins are the now visible stance the left has taken in favor of illegal immigration, coupled with late/post term abortion.
I’d say the optics aren’t good for the Dems - and that’s longer term damage. Trump will beat them over the head with it.
Oh. And he’ll still get the wall.

Every ""offer"" made came with poison pill limitations.
To the contrary, they were so determined to avoid giving Trump ANY portion of his campaign promise -- "not a dollar" -- that they willingly screwed the 'Dreamers' in the process. Now those with current TPS are facing the real possibility of eventual potential deportation, instead of looking at a path to citizenship. Democrats blocked that path. They walled it off. One proverbial wall in a futile effort to prevent another's physical construction.
Meanwhile, Trump will get his wall.
Dreamers were screwed by Dems, and in the end, they got screwed for nothing other than Pelosi's ego.

Let’s see how this plays out in 2020 and see if there’s a wall by then.
If Trump wins and there’s a wall, then you got owned becuase you took your eye off the prize for the short term shiny object.
