Hiring illegals comes with risk.

20 years ago I was framing houses for a living. Me and a bunch of other white guys. A crew of Hondurans showed up and started building next to us. Their boss told our he needs to get rid of the white boys and get some Hondurans. “They world daylight to dark, you can pay them less and they never wanna take off work”. I know my boss agreed but he stuck with us white boys because it was the right thing to do

There will be deportations sure but the idea he’s going to dump 10+ million people south of the border is ridiculous. It did the job and got the votes but when push comes to shove they aren’t all disappearing. What is far more likely to happen is enforcement of the border and making it more difficult to live and work here resulting in some self deportations, but even then not to the tune of 10+ million

It won’t be a measurable difference in the numbers

If he were to do what he threatened, people would revolt over the increase in cost for everyday items as the cost of labor escalates unreasonably

He won’t go far enough to really reduce the welfare and health burden but I would guess he will start with prisons and known criminals first then secure the border. Mass deportations and migrant camps will never happen at the national level, maybe in a few border towns. Many people will self deport but there will be too much resistance from the Left and the media. They will find some very favorable circuit courts to clog the process

it could totally collapse the entire construction industry in our area and would 2x labor costs overnight if everything plays out to its fullest extent. He even said it would probably put him out of business

If the industry relies on illegal, sub-minimum wage labor to survive, there's a much bigger problem than illegals. The whole industry needs a major correction.
