How far are we away from a Convention of the States? Something has to change.

The fricking swamp is so deep and wide this may be the only thing that saves us from blood running down our streets. The Federal government needs to be scraped out of Washington DC and decentralized.

The FBI disbanded.

The CIA disbanded.

The 7th floor of the State Department disbanded.

The IRS disbanded.

Term limits enacted.

Lobbying outlawed.

Just this week the DOJ basically telling a state that they cannot audit their own fricking elections.

frick every bit of this.

A convention of the states will be the only thing that can accomplish this without thousands upon thousands of Americans losing their lives.

How many states have to consent - 37? That’s gonna be pushing it even in the face of indisputable evidence of treason/election theft/coup - whatever you want to call it. Too many dirty politicians and pansies.

And that's honestly the only thing that would even come close to triggering interest at this point.

If this happened, our ruling class would drop every pretense of "freedom" and "democracy" and violently arrest and murder every individual behind said convention. It would be Hong Kong on steroids.

Well, let’s get real, we gotta roll sooner or later, might as well do it now.

28 states have already passed legislation calling for or supporting the call for a COS.

That’s still a far cry from what’s needed - assuming your info is accurate

The bottom line is this…. AG Merrick Garland knows a powder keg is very likely to explode as soon as the majority of American people discover just how manipulated the election of 2020 was. His announcement to double the staff of the DOJ Civil Rights Division voter unit is not to protect election integrity, but rather to position his resources for a war against a looming storm of election review outcomes…. and the White House is so far exposed, they are positioning to use the military to protect their position.

The deep and irrefutable research has been taking place, mostly very quietly, in the background. I would expect the government response to this will be a combination of the DOJ/FBI “domestic extremist” narratives, combined with racism accusations and claims of election disinformation.

The Alinsky model: Isolate, Ridicule and Marginalize your political opposition, in combination with the use of arrests and threats by the justice department.

I wouldn't call it a far cry. 28 of 37 (needed) is a pretty good start, and nobody seems to even know about it. Imagine if there were 50 million signatures on the petition at the COS website rather than 2 million, and commensurate donations.

Hopefully light years away. I can’t think of anything that would be more disastrous, divisive, shortsighted, and ultimately a failure more than a Convention of States attended by this generation of politicians.

Last count I saw was 19 with the single resolution of term limits.

Has nothing to do with election fraud.

Attended by whom (specifically)?

Name the most likely 9 of the remaining 32 states,

ETA: or better yet what are the 28 who have signed on?

Btw none of the things you listed require amending the Constitution to enact—except term limits.

Current state legislators, or worse, people who would be appointed by current state legislators.
