I'm here a lot. Never got wind he was super popular with posters. Did I miss tons of post praising him and talking about his great political skill?
His great future in the party?
His great value as a leading republican?

2026 elections will be interesting. I think both MTG and Massie lose badly, but who knows. Maybe their constituents really do rally around their views. It’s really a no lose situation for them though. If they lose some liberal publishing house will throw a bunch of money to them for a book deal.

Massie is nothing more than a vote for Trump's agenda. But Massie is very unreliable. That's all this is about.
Words mean nothing. Only actions (votes) matter.
I voted for Trump and his agenda. Massie is thwarting that agenda.

I don't know who he is - so there's that.
Which is not surprising from a Trump sycophant.

The libertarian-leaning wing represents about 15-20% of the GOP, and Massie is one of the two most-prominent voices in that wing. Anyone serious about following American politics would be familiar with him.

Those who simply follow a demagogue, less so.

Yeah not even remotely true lol I work in her district and lived most of my life in her district. I haven’t met a single voter who was ever excited about her or didn’t preface voting for her with “she’s crazy but I voted for her” or “I wish we had another option but I wasn’t voting for a Democrat”. She isn’t popular she just happens to run in an extremely conservative Republican district which often goes unopposed. A viable alternative would likely defeat her but it’s hard to beat an incumbent.

Yet you people picked her over nine other Republicans for an open seat.

I'll ride with Rand for now on principled stances. Massie is just about clickbait.

Massie is what MAGA should have been. A lot of us hoped that the libertarian rhetoric coming from the Trump campaign was legit. Turns out it’s just Biden 2.0.

That would be perfect if Trump was on our side. His true colors are coming out. He proves more and more that he isn’t.

this?

Reps. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) and Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) spearheaded a bipartisan effort

quote:

“The reason he’s losing it is he ran saying, ‘There’s a corrupt governing elite that has shafted you,’ that ‘This is the Epstein class versus forgotten Americans, and I’m going to stand up for forgotten Americans,’” he added. “He’s forgotten those forgotten Americans. And we are saying that we are going to stand up for survivors, for America’s kids, and we’re going to hold this class accountable.”

Playing political football and getting an assist from Meghan McMassie.

That's a real hero! LINK

He may not be on your side. Which I wouldn’t blame him for one bit. Same as to your buddies similarly situated. Way too demanding, and those demands are usually childishly unreasonable and unrealistic, most likely because you don’t want them to be met in the first place, so you can continue on griping and whining.

Barrack Obama literally polls better than Thomas Massie in his district.

Massie loves hearing himself talk, again nothing he supports will pass, nothing.. He never gets support for any bills, why because they are not supported by the majority of the house. Which is fine but you don't vote against a clean CR that funds the government while your party is in power. R's have to learn to govern to some extent, which means you have to fund the government. Of course we all love pass the Penny plan Rand Paul, but that is not happening...

He most definitely isn’t. My side is much more aligned to freedom and liberty. There’s nothing too demanding, childish, unreasonable or unrealistic about that.
I can’t imagine any American equating that with griping or whining.
