From a media darling standpoint he would be formidable. Good looking, very smart and extremely quick on his feet. Has a pretty good CV at that beyond the time in politics. Built a successful small business albeit with Getty bankrolled him but he grew it and I think he sold it a while back at a hefty profit.
He has some outstanding negatives as well from not only from his time as California governor, but as mayor of SF....and a few personal issues that happened after he was divorced but before he remarried.
But, he's 56-57 years old and that makes him appealing at this moment

1. From budget surplus to budget deficit
2. Crime stats
3. Billions spent on homelessness and many of those billions unaccounted for
4. Siphoning tax dollars for benefits for illegals
5. Massive regulations driving up costs of everything
6. Increasing minimum wage to the complete detriment of small business
7. Failure to close the border
8. Hammer home the “rules for thee…” actions during the pandemic
Just a Cali citizen who has to deal with his nonsense daily.

She won't speak against him. She's said it on more than one occasion. Plus it would make her look like the psycho stereotype and she does not want that.

He's awful and literally no one likes him. I'm bewildered by how much credit folks on here give him.
You attach the democrat party with their own weapons - racism, sexism, threatening democracy, etc... A move to Newsome means they pass over the female of color and ignore the will of their primary voters to install and far left white man.
