It enhances respect for our borders and rule of law.

I could see letting them stay, but deporting their parents if the children had a stable family willing to assume responsibility for them. But then folks like you would just scream heartless for splitting families up. Which makes this a no win situation for those opposed to harboring illegals, so send the whole family back.

Would you have said the same about slavery and prohibition when it was law of the land?

This will tell me a lot about your moral fabric as a man.

Its easy to blanket this under that pretense, if you believe life is black and white and has no nuances. they reproduce at greater rates anyways, theres nothing anyone can stop about that.

Yes.

And both were dealt with LEGALLY.

Slavery and prohibition were abolished legally through the amendment process.

How do you tax and measure what laws are deemed "full of heart" or "heartless".

Again, this is more liberal "government is my god and must enforce morality" bullshite. The law is the LAW. Its black and white on this.

You are a typical liberal with the emotional bullshite.

Leave your emotions on Oprah and the View. I don't want laws that are meant to make everyone "feel good".

Do you have any other reasons other than emotion that makes this the wrong decision?

He's mad a Trump. Because he wants to be. If he were rational, he'd be mad at the parents. That's who put their children in jeopardy. Not the government.

No its not, I'm asking him to uphold his law and order outlook on life.

He clearly lets the law dictate his morality.

What else are all these anti race based policies that the current admin is pushing then?

Literally, the only rime he mentions minorities, it evolves a law or a peel back of a law that adversely effects them.

Name me one positive thing he has positively pushed for ethnic groups in the last 7 months? Every week, theres an assault on their citizenship and status in this country. Its shameful.

Meanwhile, he keeps hoaxing his base into actually believing that he is doing something for them. I guess they are just more happy with him sticking it to the left and their voters then actually doing good by the country.

Speaks volumes about the voters

If you find a law IMMORAL, you change it through the LEGAL PROCESS.

You are acting like morality and law are different, they are not.

Immoral laws have a way of being dealt with. Either through amendments or through congressional bills.

And I don't get your point on the slavery angle. Slavery was made illegal through an amendment.

No amendment=slavery still exists.

Yeah. it really is. Someone knowingly violating the law and facing consequences for their own decision it is in no way comparable to slavery.

Nope. ONe can... for example, think ghey marriage is an abomination, but still work at as a court clerk and prepare marriage licenses for them. Your requirement for absolute zealotry is silly.

Um... didn't you just accuse the other side of being all about identy politics? Does the term projection mean anything to you?

It is not, and should not be the president's job to push proposals specifically for ethnic groups. His job is to do what is right for Americans. Not black Americans, or brown Americans, and certainly not illegal aliens.
