That fight should remind us that politics is not the only thing fixed, rigged, and corrupt.
Fury whipped his arse the whole fight and one judge had it scored 115-111 for Wider ??
WTF?
They needed a rematch to lock up more cash for another pay per veiw and they got it !

Whipped his arse so bad he knocked himself down twice! Go home Mrs Fury, you’re drunk.

You don't have to be anti-boxing to see the inconsistency between the football efforts to prevent concussions vs. boxing's primary goal being to cause them.

Our shitty media can manufacture outrage at the drop of a hat, so an anti-boxing crusade could be created inside of a week where you wonder why "nobody was offended by it last week but now it is a 'crisis'".

But in today’s society, how do we promote this brutal sport?

A society that will kill its own children for convenience will accept anything.

UFC took whatever market share boxing had. It also doesnt help that boxing doesnt have a unified regulating body for competition.

Don’t know shite about boxing but Lomachenko looks good

Loma will make anyone a boxing fan. Counting his amateur career, he's had over 400 fights. How many has he lost?

TWO!

He won his first title in only his 3rd professional fight. This is a recent comment from Loma in an interview:
quote:

“I don’t want to be just any fighter,” Lomachenko told BoxingScene.com “I want to put my name in history, I want to put my name in the history books. Boxing will remember me in history.

This kid has made more than one WORLD CHAMPION quit between rounds I want to say 5 of his last 9 opponents quit between rounds. He simply overwhelms you with punches from every angle imaginable. Loma has the best footwork of any boxer I've ever seen. He can "corner" you in the middle of the ring with his feet and then systematically breaks you apart with relentless punches to the body and head.

Watch the guy every time he fights, you're watching what will go down as one of the best to ever lace up the gloves.

This is laughable. MMA is so lucrative that it's biggest star had to take on a boxer to get a decent pay day. The top five PPV events? All boxing matches. The richest PPV in history? A boxing match.

Recently a boxer was signed to a $365 MILLION contract, who was that? Yep, it was a boxer. Three new streaming platforms were recently launched for sports. What were their main draws? Yep, boxing. ESPN and Fox have recently made a sport their prime time draw for Saturday night. What was that? Oh yeah, that "failing" sport boxing.

MMA is your thing and I respect that but to say that it's taken over boxing is simply delusional friend.

Why not boxing?
That boxer from Louisiana May never be the same again.

I actually watched the boxing last night and enjoyed it.

It’s just strange to me that cock fighting and dog fighting are illegal and people have gone to jail for it.

But human fighting sports are ok.

It did last night when MMA belt holder Max Holloway put on a clinic against a solid Jujitsu opponent Brian Ortega...

Max landed some 500 hits

Typical Bama frick Covering for their hometown boy. You cocksuckers never lose because you were either screwed by the ref, or injuries played a part but you never acknowledge when you get your arse beat. Why can’t you ever just tip your cap when someone kicks your fricking arse like Fury did?
Wilder was drug up and down the ring all night and 2 soft knockdowns was not enough obviously. Fury got right back up and jacked Wilder’s jaw after the knockdown. What happened to that “powerful” right hand?
Are you sure you watched the same fight or were you too drunk after celebrating Tua’s choke in the Heisman ? If the soft Hawaiian wouldn’t have shite the bed against Georgia he might have won. Sux for you now enjoy your basketball team.

The only reason I was watching last night was because it was on at the bar I was at. After the first fighter got knocked the frick out in the 1st rd, I started paying attention. The main event was great. Even with my limited boxing knowledge, I could tell Loma was the far superior boxer. Just demolished his opponent in the 11th.

Keep in mind, that was a world champion he dismantled.

Another big name next weekend on DAZN (streaming service). Alvarez is fighting Fielding which should be a mismatch.

Here's hoping we have a new boxing fan on our hands.
