Unfortunately, it is going to take extreme hard times to make people understand.

Correct, that are not really comparable in any way.

Don’t forget, he also lost net worth in the process.

So just to be clear, you believe that singing happy birthday to a cardboard cutout of an actual real person is the exact same as taking a child to a drag queen show.
If you honestly believe these two things are the same then you’re a fricking idiot and deserve the ridicule you’re getting.

I don't think he ever said that
SCLibertarian did. Why didn't you address his terrible comparison directly?

Ok, so they’re not the same. Glad you don’t agree with his idiotic take.

Cults are unified. We constantly see that the left is unified and people here bitch about the right not being unified. That's because the right embraces individualism, the opposite of a cult.
BTW, what does your word 'quaralm' mean? It sounds like a cheap pain relief cream.

I live in the real world - I do not expect perfect people to ever be on the ballot.
The best I can do is vote for the LEAST EVIL person - I have been doing this ever since JFK was assassinated.
I have never had any regrets over that process - I do not regret a single vote I have ever made.
The only hard decision I ever made was to vote against Carter in the '76 election - I felt at the time that Carter was a genuinely 'good person' - but I went with Ford based on pure policy reasons.
Nothing since has been a moment's hesitation.
Except for the Primaries - I was vehemently against Trump in the '16 primary season - but had NO problem voting for him in the General election vs HRC.

Trumpism isn't on the right side of the spectrum, though.

MAGA is a small, splinter faction of "the right". Within MAGA there is a hardcore cult aspect that covers a sizeable portion of that minority splinter group.

No, I’m talking about the OP’s belief that both of these things represent “insanity”. Only one of these things represents insanity.

You think SCLibertarian’s point was that those two actions were exactly the same?
His point was the opposite.

I wonder the exact same thing about you. Despite the narrative in MSM, most Americans don't suffer from your delusion. The pendulum which has swung so far left is swinging back to the right.
To answer your question, I don't believe you can be deprogrammed. TDS is a serious problem.
The best way to deal with those suffering from your illness is to ignore them.

I think Gnome thinks those two actions are the same because that’s what he said. His own words were that “they’re both manifestations of insanity”.
So just to recap, Gnome, and apparently you, think a bunch of probably intoxicated middle aged women having a good time and singing happy birthday to a cardboard cutout is insanity just the same as if they took a child to a drag queen show.

"Support the current thing." If you go against party doctrine you are either ostracized or made to go through a humiliation ritual. I truly believe people who support the Democrat party are rich elitists who look down on the rest of Americans. The blacks who support the Democrat party are still in a slave mentality who listens to their racist white masters (Especially black women who looks to the Government like a parent) Then their is the LGBTQ who supports The Democrat party because they are allowed to be perverted deviants who want to groom your children. The left will always project their sins unto the right to make themselves believe that they have the moral highground. They don't. Hence why they shutdown and censor freespeech. While using mass media to tell them what to think.
