How did Hillary know she would lose hours before the polls closed?

She cancelled her fireworks show and didn’t show up to her ‘glass ceiling’ event...so how did she know so much earlier than the rest of us?
This has perplexed me for a few years.

They do exit polling, and rather than fake numbers maybe they have her the actual data behind it all.
The media has a reason to inflate and suppress turnout.

The rally turnout had to tip them off, but I hear what you are saying. Never knew she did it that early...interesting.

I think this is why they shouldn’t be allowed to report anything like that until after all of the polls have closed.

About nine years ago, I was seeing a card-carrying member of the Democratic party while attending Alabama. She showed me this computer software program the DNC developed that showed them every registered voter in the district, as well as which party they were affiliated with. That way they knew who to target when it came to undecideds and those who swayed back and forth. She actually threatened me when she showed this program to me because I was a registered Republican. Apparently the RNC, at least at the time, had nothing like that and she was scared that I would run off and tell someone.
It's quite possible that Hillary Clinton had a good idea of how things were going to go down when the exit polls were released based on the information this software program could give.

and the candidate does not traditionally show up at the campaign venue until the end is determined.
Hillary was expecting a win until actual results began coming in and were not tracking with exit polls.

It is a damned good question. I remember the article of Clinton popping champagne bottles on her airplane a few days before the election. She was 100% assured a win and I don't think it was the fake polls.
Another thing that I wonder about is how arrogant is it to think a Democrat can double up on the Presidency and take 16 years?
I think the only answer is it was reported that HRC paid a crap ton of money for Obama's GOTV plan. They all thought this was magic. I think HRC didn't read the fine print that the buses running through the desert and graveyards getting voters to vote many times each didn't come with the plan. It has been said Obama cheated to win in 2012.
Here is an article LINK that explains the gist of what most missed. She should have never planned a celebration-no one does this. They get a basic venue and prep with both a winning and losing speech.

I have read every book available and they thought they were going to win until they saw Trumps actual numbers in rural Florida at about 7:15 to 7:45 PM election night.
Even then they thought they could still be okay until the saw the exact same numbers out of rural MI WI OH etc. an hour or so later.
The fireworks canceling decision came a day or two earlier because the race was no longer a total slam dunk - they still thought they were going to win though.
What's funny is they were kind of nervous all day (Mook Palmieri Clinton's etc) but the exit polling from 5PM to 7PM had them giddy (and had team Trump despondent). EVERYBODY thought it was over from the exit polling - even anecdotes from the Trump side are consistent with this (yes, even DJT himself thought it was over and he was going to lose for at least an hour). Theres a quote from DJT to Melania while they were leaving the residence of Trump Tower on the 80-something floor to head down to the campaign offices on the 20-something floor that "Ivanka and Jared tell me it doesnt look good". Then over the next 30 minutes as they watched the returns in FL and OH, the mood lifted and 15 mins later as MI and WI started to come in, KAC famously described the mood of that war room as "bouyant".

Imagine voting for a candidate so self-absorbed and egocentric she gets drunk on election night, abuses staffers and then ignores the very people who devoted time and money to help get her elected. Now imagine the depravity of the soy boys on here who would vote for her again knowing all this.

By the time Cankles cancelled everyone with 1/2 a brain knew Trump won the media just refused to call it.

False.
The Republican Party has the same data and actually during voting gets nearly live info on who has voted and the feed phone banks the data to continue calling those who haven’t voted to GOTV.
Basic blocking and tackling of elections. Been going on since I was involved with presidential campaigns in Iowa in the 90s.

I think you nailed it, spot on.
this from the article link I posted
this from the article link I posted
quote:
Keeping with Clinton's theme of becoming the first female president, Javits offered a gargantuan glass ceiling to hammer home the meaning of her impending victory.
As the New York Times reported, "The symbolism seems clear. Mrs. Clinton has referred repeatedly of busting through 'the highest, hardest glass ceiling' — at least figuratively — by installing a woman in the Oval Office. If Election Day breaks her way, she will address the nation beneath a literal one."
It would have been a perfect photo opportunity. One could imagine Katy Perry's song "Roar" playing in the background, with Clinton hoarse from yelling the names of all the famous women who helped her break the gargantuan glass ceiling that towered above.

They knew the real polling data, the whole time. She's evil, not stupid.

Anyone who was paying attention around 9pm central knew it was not a lock. I went to the FL sos site and before the panhandle reported but while to rest was coming in could see that the dems had shot their load and FL would go to Trump.

Trump is a time traveler and he probably sent her video from the future!

Top super secret shite there, you do know the government gives that info out to all candidates and anyone else who ask for it right Uncle Vinny?
Here is a link where you can buy any area you wish directly from the AL sec of state website

Never change gump, never change
ETA before you claim the law has changed recently
quote:
Code of Alabama (1975), section 17-4-38 provides that the Office of the Secretary of State shall provide access to lists and voter history information contained on the central computer to anyone making application, and there shall be a uniform charge for the production of voter lists.

Voter registration data is used by campaigns, yes, but the Obama campaigns took it to another level. Their Get Out Vote software was the most sophisticated targeting effort ever, integrating publicly-available voter registration data with Google Maps API's and social media integration (much cooperation from Silicon Valley). There had never been anything like it. In 2012 the Romney Campaign wanted to do the same thing (Project Orca) but the RNC enlisted grifter cronies who basically just stole the money ($millions). On election day it failed spectacularly. To my knowledge no one was ever held accountable.
EDIT: here's a fun story on ORCA's failure: LINK

This was the moment. One of Bill's old buddies from the 90s campaigns called him up when the returns out of the panhandle started coming in. In an election that was going to have majorly depressed turnout, there were North Florida counties that were doubling the early returns out of 2008 and 2012. Every old hand knew then that Hillary was in major trouble in the Midwest.
