You guys assume I am some sort of hardcore liberal because of the dynamics of the board. The conservative to liberal imbalance mixed with how the board is moderated creates a hostile and defensive dynamic for liberal posters. Not to mention you are usually so bored with circle jerking each other that a liberal poster replying in a thread will get like 6 or 7 replies per post.

You don't have to. All you have to do is understand that as an American citizen, they have the right to have those views and to vote. Your approval of their views and intentions is not required.

I know that it's hard to accept because you like to think of yourself as better than that.
But the black voting monolith is what it is for ONE reason. And it isn't ideology. Ideologically, blacks are almost certainly at least as diverse as any other group.
They vote as if they all share one brain though.

Like I said, both parties are dead wrong on some stuff and right on other stuff...But there are certain types of behavior that I can't at all tolerate or be associated with. I don't see even reasonable conservatives standing against these folks so I typically vote dem.
