I already do that. I was thinking more of removing government from business and our day to day lives, getting rid of the IRS, moving to a flat tax based on consumption, removing payroll tax, decoupling benefits from the workplace and dropping business taxes to encourage production.

You know, things you all in support of but you elected shite heels that never did what they should have.

Ironically the "wealthy" are benefitting greatly from monetary expansion.

You should be thrilled.

Those of us who are old have lived through difficult economic conditions before. You learn skills over time that can help you get by with less money. The economy was very bad in the late 70s. We took less expensive vacations such as tent camping, grew more of our own food, fixed broken items rather than replacing them, ate out less often, and carpooled when we could. Most importantly, we voted for Ronald Reagan because we knew that the economy would improve with a conservative in the White House

I bought an Amazon transporter to go with my Amazon housing pod so I’m kind of thriving. I have the Bill Gates starter worm farm for my protein needs. And rainwater is free .You jelly?

Yep.

The "great inflation" period of 65-85

Recessions in 73, 75, 19, 81, early 90s, 2001, 2009, and Covid.

We've been through every one of them.

How does the average teen girl or boy come up with $10k a year to dedicate just to school? Not a select few traveling to Alaska to work.

Agreed. But the conservatives yall chose to lead the way like the Bush family, sold this country to China and moved vital portions of our workforce to other countries. The people you elected gave us globalism in a way that wrecked the middle class.

But that’s not even the point. The poison pills put forth by FDR and Wilson were left to fester while y’all did nothing. Weak, weak, weak, but thankfully it’s gotten so bad for my generation we will force the issue because, well, we kind of have to, so I guess maybe I should be grateful.

That's straight up bullshite! I have a very good paying job and if I only work 40hrs a week I barely can pay my bills and living expenses with zero left over. I don't have a car note or credit cards. I don't know how a lot of people make it.

What expenses do you have that you’re break even w/o a car note or credit card debt, and a good job?

I had a J-1 student working for me a few years ago, he would go home with 9-10k, which was more than his family made in Bulgaria. He used it to live on all year long.

Now, the average teen boy or girl will not because they do not want to work that hard. shite, even in the 90s kids would come up here, sleep in tents and take all their money home.

The crisis in this country isn't low pay, its inflation.

We don't need more money, we need less expensive shite. The current political bent is to throw money at everything.

Sadly people still vote for politicians who want to keep expanding monetary policy.

This isn't new. The average 18 year old hasn't been paying their own tuition for I'd imagine a looooong time.

At my house in the Rocky Mountains I employ a landscape company. It is owned by a man named Benito Barrios. Benito was an immigrant who didn’t have shite. He followed the advice in paragraph 1. Eventually, he took the clients who had come to trust him, the crews who loved and respected him, and started his own company. He is now rich. Why can Benito do it, but young Americans can’t? Because they are unworthy pussies.

I see this all over Houston. We have work ethic and living beyond your means entitlement problems in this country’s native population.

Oh that didn’t happen? Actually, your comment makes sense. You guys were asleep at the wheel. Boomers never take responsibility apparently. Just blame it on the next generation and the next after that. Eat shite.
