How can people no longer notice they don't live in a free country anymore?

I'd bet most residents of England think they live in a "free" country.
However this is a country where political activists are arrested on the street on trumped up charges and then a legally mandated blackout is imposed on the incident.
It's a country where a whistle blower on international wrong doing is held political prisoner inside an embassy for years.
It' a country where posting a Youtube video of your dog doing un-PC humor can have you dragged into court and convicted of crimes.
It's a country where benign tweets deemed "offensive" will have police knocking on your door.
It's a country where private gun ownership is all but impossible.
The UK became a soft totalitarian state within a generation and very few there seems to notice or care.
When the same thing happens here, will people notice or care?

It's pretty fricking sad. Being arrested for basically saying mean things on social media.
Fortunately, we can defend our 1st Amendment rights by exercising our 2nd Amendment rights if need be.

How can people cheer for a World Cup champion that had 2 goals gifted to them by an inept referee and overall system? "Champion" when outplayed in every facet. Disgusting

His actions were certainly rude and uncalled for, but not a felony crime by any reasonable measure...

How can be free when you are called a subject of the crown?

That is why I will never relinquish my 2nd Amenment rights.

That. Trump’s nominees are the only thing that will stave off Hate Speech Laws in the US.

The army is made up of the people..the people who have family and friends at home and in other places. Do you think those people will turn on their family and friends because someone told them to?
Would you??

The major difference between the UK and the US is that we the people can raise a standing army of at least 1 million plus without blinking an eye for a redo of 1776 should such things be tried here. They also have about twice as many Muslims as we do per capita. Most of the rest are atheists or transgendered Anglicans.
This is not to say that such foolishness might not be tried here by the Dems, but it would meet with a very different response.
Exhibit 1: We the people vs the BLM at Bundy Ranch. And that wasn’t even anything as serious as what is currently happening on a daily basis in England.
