How about making the tax rolls the official voter registration .

Just abolish the IRS, repeal the 16th Amendment and institute a national retail sales tax. Problem solved.

Better yet, have it only qualify those who paid taxes as being eligible to vote.

Not sure I would want property owners as a basis for voting rights. Then it would be a ton of banks, foreign investors, REITs, syndicates, and institutional investors determining the outcome. You think China has a say-so in our government now, imagine how bad it would be if you allowed only property owners to vote.

How about we just shrink the federal government down to a reasonable size and start with some tariffs? Over 80% of the federal government is bloated waste. Most of the services of government should be provided by state governments anyway.
