This fact alone is sufficient to reject evolution. Anyone can see that a mouse and a rat are very similar animals, other than size.

Houston is situated in a low-lying coastal area with poorly draining soils and is subject to heavy rainfall events and storm surge events, which makes it very prone to flooding.
So I guess none of this matters? You people are nuts.
Simple solution: Don't. move. into. a. flood plain.

The flooding problems in Houston can be reduced to one simple fact. Poor urban planning

please tell me youre joking.
if not you must have a dozen STDs because your ocular patdown somehow didnt detect the girls HPV.

How did this thread go from Houston flooding to the theory of evolution?

Sorry, the science just isn't on the climate denialers side.
Someone who doesn't believe there is climate?
The "science" works like this:
Rain falls. Then it runs off to tributaries, and eventually to the ocean. If the same amount of rain results in different runoff, it has nothing whatever to do with climate. That is the situation in Houston.
It is the reason Beaumont, Lake Charles, Victoria, Corpus Christi, etc. are not suffering from the same """climate""" effects as Houston.

Climate Denier is someone who doesn't believe either the planet is warming, the planet isn't warming at an unusual rate, or that man is responsible for the warming.
They're basically the fat woman at the Doctor's office who argues with their Doctor that their obesity has nothing to do with their Diabetes and it's all just a conspiracy started up by the "Big Diet" industry to make them lose weight.

I think the issue is that most people in Houston do not believe that man has much impact at all on climate change, but with flooding and lack of proper draining man has much to do with it.

Climate Denier is someone who doesn't believe either the planet is warming
Are you a "climate denier"?

No the earth isn't warming naturally, the earth's temperature has been remarkably stable for the last 10,000 years. This warming phase is not natural.. And you can see that the man is the main cause for the warming.

If that's how you're going to define a climate denier, then I guess I am. But I'm also the one not arguing with NASA.

So what does NASA say about the probability we are nearing postinterglacialmaximum?
For that matter, now exactly is NASA modeling for it?
