So if someone supported the right to self-determination and to choose the form of government one lives under they should be branded as racist and purged from all social consciousness.

Also, the “you’re the real racists” is a losing argument. It may be true, but you’re playing into the Democrats hand. You’re acknowledging and endorsing their argument.
And they don’t care if they’re hypocritical.
We need to argue, accurately and with good reason, that we are the least racist society on earth.

There aren’t any memorials to Hitler in Germany, Hussein in Iraq, or South Vietnamese in Communist Vietnam.
I’m as Republican and Southern as it gets. I’ll vote for Trump again in the primaries and for President. But it really doesn’t make sense to keep around statues of people who lost a war fighting largely for slavery.
