Nope. He has already gotten what ever deal he wants because he has stated tonight that he will back McCarty.

Are we sure the GOP gets the house. Give me some good links, Jjdoc. Genuinely want to see something other than fox etc.
Thanks in advance.

Someone should schedule a vacation for Scalise and McCarthy to the Bermuda Triangle.

39 too close to call? Hold the shocked face if they all go blue after additional ballots suddenly surface.

He does. As much GOPe he is, I am willing to let him prove himself. Obviously I don't have much hope. I am of the "Anyone but McConnell and McCarthy" for leadership right now.

I don’t see the GOP winning yet, might be better to wait and see if they can get a majority before announcing any campaign.

Watch the money.

The speaker will be whoever has the most money coming for the congressional PAC.

If the big money signals they prefer Scalise he will be the speaker.

Most of these congressmen spend all day in shitty offices located in shitty building working the phones for the next election... not doing the people's business.

But that's what allows the party's leadership, both parties, to dominate their members unless they are one of Pelosi's "glass of water". If you don't work the phones, you won't get money from the PAC next time around. But that money you are soliciting is the very leverage they have you by the balls with. So that's basically all they do.

“We” is a funny term. Did you make phone calls to get out the vote? Donate money to said states? I’d love to know what value you added.

The intelligence of those who consider this a burn is not even average.

Well to be fair I’ve never claimed to be of average intelligence.

By that logic, when LSU wins you cannot say "we" won, or "we" played great. You know, since you didn't play in the game or practice or call any plays or anything. Am I right?

You are right. Although does donating to TAF count?
