You think you are clever but a lot of us have been around for while so we know your leftist playbook.

Here’s your leftist talking point…
quote:

Tax cut for the wealthy and cutting Medicaid aren't going to be popular,

And here’s your leftist concern troll

I fear

Next, you’re going to tell us……

“I’m as MAGA as they come, buttttttttttt

Or

I voted for Trump 3x’s, buttttttttt

I bet they didn’t touch co2 sequestration. (The biggest green scam of them all.) Greedy frickers have too much money riding on it.

Leadership proposed a $30,000 deduction cap for individuals making $400,000 or less, a proposal SALT Caucus members vehemently rejected. Instead, the group floated a $62,000 deduction cap for single filers, and a $124,000 cap for joint filers — highlighting the gulf between the groups. In the end, after days of tense negotiations that saw a handful of blowups, lawmakers agreed on a $40,000 deduction cap for individuals making $500,000 or less.

Overnight, right of course. They always pass the worst bills while everyone is sleeping.

Tax cut for the wealthy

Everyone is wealthy? Is that like everyone is racist?

cutting Medicaid

Jettisoning illegals, getting rid of expansion and imposing work requirements isn't cutting. It's returning the fricking program to what it was originally intended to be.

Not a leftist, I voted for Trump 3x.

Just giving my opinion on the topic of this thread. He ran on populist ideas and a lot of people liked that. You had AOC and Trump tickets in New York. I think he and the Republican caucus are dropping the ball. If they pushed through some populist bills (like the pharmaceutical bill) and didn't totally screw up the messaging on the deportations, I would be more bullish for their chances in 2026, even with this tax cut plan.

No breaks for the middle class and tax cuts for the wealthy will be a hard message to fight against. Just bad politics in my opinion.

America as we know it, is kaput. The economy is about to explode-- rampant inflation is nigh. Social unrest is about to set root.

Donald J Trump just became the lamest of lame ducks, overnight. We're looking at a 60-seat turnover in the house.

Good news for a change. I saw that democrats tried to stop it all and failed.

Looks bad for dems in midterms.

Makes 2017 cuts permanent (thus avoiding an almost 70% tax increase)?

Who works for tips?

Who works overtime?

Increased/expanded child credit?

Do you even know anything about the legislation your decrying?

Is that a meme for real?

Oh well. I laid out more substance below that portion of the post. Willing to discuss it if you want.

And Trump isn't running for re-election in 2028, so let's just see how that works out for them.

Can you say Insurrection Act? Talk about irony...
