Just got my house insurance bill in, it went up 14%, they sent a letter advising it increased so much due to national inflation and increased cost of materials.

So once again, I wanna thank all you stupid mofer’s that voted Brandon in. Great job…..

The Republicans were all about throwing money out of helicopters as well when all this just started.

Biden sucks but this is not a one party problem.

You can blame Biden rightfully for a ton of things.
Increased home ins due to catastrophic events is not one of them.
Call a local broker.

I also live on the coast and even though we had no damage claims due to Sally or the hailstorm my insurance went up over 200 percent. Even working with a broker didn’t help. Coastal living. Taking the good with the bad.

I wish that's all mine went up. Mine went from just over a thousand annually to $2400 annually.

I just checked my payment history and mine was $1850 in 2015 and was $2032 July, 2021. I guess it might go up this coming July. Not sure.

Last year all 3 went up (H.O. Flood and Property tax).. That has never happened before.. When H.O. goes up so does the contents.. I lowered the contents and it was a little less of a screwing... I guess I expect the same this year..

I'm in South LA, I've had two hurricane claims in last 14 months... and mine only went up 6%.

I was stunned.

However my flood renewal just came out and it's going up close to 25%. So who knows.

With housing prices skyrocketing, the cost of replacement homeowners insurance is also skyrocketing.

There are other components to the cost increases, like more natural disasters and claims.

My house has gone up over 20% in the past 18-24 months.

The CARES Act wasn't perfect, but it was a good stop-gap to get people over the hump so things could then reopen. Democrats didn't play ball and kept their states closed and then just started throwing money at the wall.

Home insurance and auto. I received a text message this weekend indicating auto was increasing 15%.
