Excellent retort. 10 out of 10. You should be quite proud of yourself. I know I am impressed.

It doesn't matter. He controls which bills reach the floor.
Nancy was the queen of this.

This is true. And I don't ever remember the R's ever threatening to go the discharge petition route with her. They'd rather simply whine about Nancy not bringing something to the floor. They like being behind... being the "victim" so to speak. It's why they get steamrolled by the Dems even when they are in the majority.

How many bills in her tenure did Pelosi bring to the floor that were voted down with Democrats voting against?

Motherfricking this! Finally someone understands. Thankyou!

Why would the Republicans have ever threatened a discharge petition in Pelosi’s time as speaker, whenever there were never any Democrat votes for a discharge petition?

How many bills would the Dems have voted with them on?
None.

Huh?
You want Johnson to bring bills to the floor that will not pass and that members of the GOP will vote against.
How is that your point?

No.
He said he will bring single issue bills to the floor that make sense.
It's not hard if we pass a real budget instead of omnibus spending.
They want to hide pork.

Exactly. Why aren't the Republicans more like that?
I know... GOPE and all that... but WHY? Why is there really no "DEME" or "Dino" category? Why is it only R's that seems to like to drift left and never the other way around... at least when it comes to solidarity in voting?
If any of that makes sense... it does in my head... but that's not saying very much.

If he does that, he and his family better get the frick out of Louisiana

He could have made the Dems own shutting down the government over border security.
You see. The whole of congress doesn't want that.
They all want this money. Badly
Unable to make money under the table that way. The elected people understand that in D.C. Until the voters get it, nothing will change.
It's all about money and power.
Biggest pyramid scheme in Washington known to man.
