It's actually their hail mary before election day. Several of the dems have promised to fire up the impeachment talks if they are able to take control of both the House & Senate. So now they throw this out there a week before election day, over the next few days this will be the big conversation, and they will promise that if they take control they will start impeaching him again.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If there was anything against Trump in the "files" it would have come out during the last election.

You seem to be having a hard time understanding this. How could Biden only release or 'leak' the parts about one person Trump without people asking questions like "well, who else is in the files?"
This isn't about Trump. Its about a political structure that can't release the totality of 'the files' because both sides are implicated. Hopefully this helps you understand it better.
