People tend to hate congressional reps from other states, believing their own to be better or in useful positions for their home state.

THIS is the way! Folks dont like to be told that whomever sits in Congress is only because WE voted for em. The only power to change congressional representation lies with we the people.
There's no way around that fact. That our votes don't matter has been proven a lie. We voted Trump into the presidential seat.

Agreed, I’m ready to put the house on 4 year terms where half of the house is up for election every two years and members can only serve one four year term.

How do you feel about Trump requesting a $1 trillion defense budget?
Or refusing to say he wants to return spending to pre-Covid levels?
I mean, if you really care about spending cuts, consistency should be a factor.

It must end if we want lasting change. There is no other way we can achieve lasting change in DC, outside of a revolution. We need a natuonal information campaign discussing this, putting this reality in voters face. We need a Scott Pressler out there trying to get this truth to voters.

This is his time to bring pressure. Make it public and get the people riled up. Make whatever threats he needs to in order to get the results he needs and has promised all of us that he'd get. The ball is in his court. Nobody said this would be easy.

I PRAY that I have to eat my words here, but he’s not going to get it done.
Going back to 2016, I voted for him mostly to vote against Hillary. The thing I disliked most about Trump when he took office was his arrogance and narcissism. I was 100% in favor of the vast majority of his policy then, and I still feel that way today. We’ve said repeatedly that most of the establishment hates him and will do anything within their power to make sure he’s unsuccessful in anything he tries to do, no matter how good or beneficial it might be.

Trump’s biggest weakness is legislative affairs. I have said that for years. The only success he had was tax reform and he basically had that teed up for him by Paul Ryan. The judiciary wins were basically McConnell. Trump is smart enough to listen to good advice but beyond that there is no record to point to with Trump. I would note Biden’s successes were basically giant pork funding and the Dems and RINOS were hogs at the trough so that is why he was successful.

Campaigning for midterms. It’s a product of our antiquated 2-year term for representatives. It needs to change because as things stand, the only thing that ever matters to Congress is the next election.
We need to increase the terms of the House to four years to sync it with POTUS terms, or, not set a term for House members and allow a POTUS to dissolve the House and call for new elections with a majority vote of consent in the Senate.
